Beverly Hills High School Gay Straight Alliance Club Constitution
Article I – Club Name
Section 1. This Organization shall be
known as the Gay Straight Alliance Club of Beverly Hills High School.
Article II – Authority
Section 1. The authority of this
organization is derived from the student council and the governship of this is
under the ASB Vice President.
Section 2. All Provisions of the
constitution are acts of this organization are subject at all times to the
approval of the principal of Beverly Hills High School.
Article III – Purpose
Section 1. The purpose of this
organization is to
lessen homophobia on campus and in the community, in
turn make it a less hostile environment for those who are of different sexual
orientations, questioning, or supporting others. By raising awareness, our GSA will strive to create a school
environment free of homophobic sexual, verbal and physical harassment.
Article IV – Membership
Section 1. Membership is open to all students.
Article V – Officers
Section 1. The officers shall perform the
duties entailed in their position for one school year/both semesters.
